Optimum moisturisation and protection against environmental influences Zoé HydraProtect was developed to ensure optimum skin moisturisation and to ward off negative environmental influences. In addition Zoé HydraProtect guards the skin against free radicals and helps to maintain its natural protective barrier function. The skin's moisture levels are regulated by its own moisture channels, the so-called aquaporins. Aquaporins are microscopic water channels which form in the cell membrane and ensure optimum transport of moisture between the cells. The natural regulation of the skin's water balance is endangered by negative environmental factors and natural ageing effects every day. As a result the skin's ability to absorb and retain moisture is reduced. The skin cells become dehydrated and dry, the skin looks sallow and the lack of moisture causes wrinkles. The selective activation of the aquaporins improves the supply of moisture through to the deep-lying skin layers. This has a long-lasting effect, making the skin feel soft, supple and fresh. A new range The Zoé HydraProtect formulations developed for the individual skin types and needs are enriched with valuable active ingredients with outstanding moisturising properties, and protect the moisture channels with their moisture regulating effect. The Zoé HydraProtect care products are categorised according to the various skin types (normal & dry skin as well as normal & combined skin) for best consumer orientation. The new, light and oil-free gel textures are particularly worthy of mention. The Day Gel Cream with vitamin C and E protects the skin against external environmental influences and light-related ageing. The light Night Cream Gel with Blue Lotus minimises wrinkles caused by dehydration and improves the skin's elasticity. The Pore Minimizer Serum has a pore refining and mattifying effect. New additions to the range are the Tinted Day Cream with UV protection, the Vitamin Booster Serum, the Hydra Detox Mask and the Gentle Cleansing Mousse which enhance the attractiveness of the range.
